In my podcast yesterday, one of the lessons I pointed out that we need to learn from the 2012 election is that the RNC and state parties should work harder to push out the conservative message “year-round.” The Democrats are doing this and they have the media to support them in their efforts.
For an example of what I am talking about, you need look no further than the parties respective websites.
Over at GOP.com there is one small box with rotating blog headlines. There is no mention of the fiscal cliff negotiations although there are several criticisms of the president and a commemoration of Hanukkah. There are also numerous calls to donate or volunteer.
However, over at Democrats.org there is a full court press on the “Tax Cuts for the Middle Class,” including multiple articles, attractive graphics, and a record of the President’s twitter conversations with loyal supporters.
While you are at it, check out the respective Facebook pages:
Compare and contrast and then ask yourself why the Democrats are winning.
